CRITERIA FOR ENTRY

• This award is open to women residing in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Italy, or the United Kingdom.
• Must have at least four years of related work experience in fine beverages, food, or hospitality industry.
• Past or current members of Les Dames d’Escoffier International are ineligible.

APPLICATION CHECKLIST: All materials MUST be submitted together, via email, in ONE ELECTRONIC FILE.

• Completed, signed, and scanned application form.
• Resumé or CV including all work and volunteer experience, education, awards, etc.
• 300- to 500-word essay about your work experience, how it relates to the award you are applying for, and what you hope to accomplish if selected for the Legacy Awards experience.
• Two letters of recommendation from industry professionals/mentors.   

GUIDELINES & DEADLINES

• Submit all application materials electronically in one file. Add a digital signature OR type your name on the line provided as your agreement to the TERMS FOR WINNERS.
• Name your file: 2025Legacy-award number-first initial last name, e.g. 2025Legacy_4-ASmith
• The final deadline for applications is March 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM EDT and will not be extended. Submit completed application file to info@ldei.org with “2025 LEGACY AWARDS APPLICATION” in the subject line.
• Winners will be announced April 30, 2025. The award experience must be completed by mid-October, 2025.
